Description
This series of Canadian postage stamps without the words, "postes" and "postage" are not errors in printing. These stamps are referred to as the Unrevised Design issue. The stamps were intentionally planned and manufactured without these words. The issue had been scheduled to appear on June 6, 1949, but the stamps were withheld because of the decision to add the words, "postes" and "postage" to the series.
