Description
This stamp was issued to commemorate one of the men of who guided the destinies of Canada from the time of Confederation.
It represents a portrait of Robert Laird Borden, Canada's Prime Minister during the First World War. His term of office extended from October, 1911 to July, 1920. He was born in Grand Pré, Nova Scotia, 1854, and died in Ottawa on June 10, 1937.
